DROWNED IN THE HARBOUR.
A TUAKAU FARMER'S DEATH.
Shortly after nine o'clock yesterday morning the body of a man was found ioatmg in the harbour by Mr. D. Texeira, first mate of the s.s. Clansman. He summoned the. police, and the body was removed to the morgue. It was decomposed, and sharks had bitten off both arms. The body was identified as that of Mr. Patrick Walsh, 70 years of age, who left his home at Tuakau on August 24, and had not since v been seen by his relatives. Sir. Walsh, who was a farmer, bad decided to live in a house in Gray-street that he was unable to let, and he left his family on the 24th inst. in order to get the house ready for them. An inquest will probably be held to-day.
