An appeal was made by Joseph Bertram Graves, a motorman, against his dismissal, as the result of a "head on" collision between a car driven by him and a sprinkler •on the Biccarton line. • Tho grounds of the appeal were that no .blame was attachable to the appellant, because his car had the right of way. _ The rail was greasy, his, view was obstructed by a cart, and he had obeyed the regulation* regarding accidents.
