. JjIGHTKEEPER INJURED. ;. [BY TBIiEGBAPH— COBEESrONDBKTj Gisborne, Monday, An accident befel Mr. W. Lockwood, of the Tola©> Bay Lightering Company, last' evening. He was lighting the leading light of the port, which is illuminated by acetylene gas. The large globe became charged with gas, and' on a match being applied the globe exploded. Mr. Lockwood was stunned .by the shock , and severely cut about the " face, and it is feared he will lose the sight of the right eye. '■ v ' f:
