Recs George,,' president and vice-president respectively of -the Auckland Hockey Association, Mr. T. 'Gresham, _ president of t.he Ladies' Hockey Association, Mr. Menzies, : secretary of the Thames Hookey . Association, • Mr. Angus Campbell, ' president of the: Rugby • Referees' Associa- , tion, Mr. Classen, secretary of the Soccer Football Referees' Association, and Mr. Fin- \ lav of the, Lacrosse ' Umpires' Association. Tho Wednesday Hockey Association and the leading Auckland clubs also sent representatives. The evening was passed in an extremely pleasant manner. The following toast list was;honoured :—"The King." proposed, by the chairman ; " Auckland Hockey Association," proposed by Mr. E. Hay, and responded to by Messrs. W. Cowman and II: Roes George; ," Auckland Hockey Referees' Association," proposed by Mr. Nor- ! ton. and responded to by Messrs.* Burbush and Hay: ""Kindred Societies," proposed by Mr. Horspool,: and responded to ' 'by Messrs. Campbell, Classen, and Finlay; "Auckland 'Ladies' ~ Hockey Association," proposed by Mr. Murphy, and responded to by Mr. Gresham; "The Press," proposed by Mr. Baddiley.
