CHOOSING A SITE.

London, June 16. Mr. E. L. Batchelor (Australian Minister for External Affairs) and 20 members of the Federal Legislature inspected Trafalgar Square, the Strand, and other sites suggested for the Commonwealth offices. Almost all agreed to the Strand site.

The State Premiers agreed to recommend their respective Governments to combine in centralising their offices one Australian building.
