London, June 16. Sir E. Strachey (Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture), in reply to Mr. C. W. Bowerman (Labour member for Deptford), said that it was almost impossible to prove false trade descriptions applied to meat, owing to the difficulty in establishing the actual country of origin. The Board of Agriculture would be glad to receive particulars of specific cases.
