ALIVE WITH BULLET IN HEAD,

A peculiar shooting affair lias been reported from Now Norcia (West Australia). Thomas Graham (19). with a mate named Johnston, last week went to Mogumber to do somo clearing. Johnston reported to Mr. Lannigan, a farmer at New Norcia that while kangaroo hunting ho had accidentally shot Graham. A search party failed to find Graham till next day, when ho was discovered alive with a bullet wound in tho head. Ho was taken to Now Norcia Convent, where, in the absence of a doctor, the monks attended him, his condition being serious. Graham had a pea-rifle, but tho bullet wound had apparently been made by a revolver. •
