SECOND DAT. [BY TELEGRAPH. —rKESS ASSOCIATION.] ._.... Oamarc, Thursday. The North Otago Jockey Club's Winter Meeting was continued to-day- in fine weather. The attendance was Rood. " The totalisator put through £7210. as against £3950 for the second day of last year's winter meeting. The total for the two days was £13.852, against £8049 last year. Results arc as follow:—
SHOUTS HANDICAP, live furlongs.—Miss Do Vere, Bst. 41b, 1; Mount Victoria, 7st 101b, 2; Ti'aitore»B, Bst 111., 3. Also started : Cardiff, Dun Kubyl, Togo, Torrential, and Amalgam. Won by Lwo lengths. Time, lm. 2 3-ss.
HEDCASTLE HANDICAP, live furlongs.—Stepnnter, Dst. 121b, 1: All Guns, 9st. 2: Expansion, Bst, 3. Won by liaH-a-lengtli. Time, lni. 2s.
PACIFIC HURDLE HANDICAP, one mile and a-nuarter.— Dorando. list Sib, 1 : Gold Pin, Dst 51b, 2: Kedmond. Ssi 111b, 3. All started. Won by a short length. Time, 3m. 245.
VICTORIA HANDICAP, one mile.—Gold Coin, 6«t 71h, 1; My Lawyer. Bsi 1011., 2; The Cornet, 7.st slli, 3. All started. Won by half-a-lcngth. Time, jm. 345.
