THE third round of the Auckland Rugby Union's club championship matches will ho played to-morrow, the whole of the senior grade games being; set down for decision at. Alexandra Park. The three games should provide unusually close contests, and patrons of the national game will therefore Ixs well catered for. The matches arc: Parnell v. University, on No. 1 ground; Marist Bros. v. At tile meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union last evening, the committee of the English Union forwarded the following resolution :—" That such members of the committee who reside in the metropolitan area, or have a place of business in that area, form the laws subcommittee, together with one accredited representative of the combined unions of New Zealand, Queensland, and New South Wales, and one of the South African Board. All questions of interpretation of laws shall he referred to this committee, who shall report their ruling to the full committee, no ruling to take effect or be published until approved of by the lull committee. Representatives of combined unions of New Zealand, Queensland, and New South Wales, and of South Africa Hoards shall he invited to attend a meeting of the full committee, when the rulings of tho Rub-committee are to be considered, and mar vote thereon.
