THE AEROPLANE MISHAP
PREMIER'S CONDITION,
THE VACANT CABINET SEAT.
CAN THE MINISTRY CONTINUE 1
By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. Paris, May 22. The condition of the Premier (M. Monies), injured in the aeroplane accident at Issy yesterday, is now satisfactory.
Mr. Fisher (Premier of Australia) telegraphed to M. Monies his profound sorrow at M. Berteaux's death, and condolences to his relatives. He expressed the hope that the recovery of M. Monies would be speedy.
The presence of M. Monies in Parliament is considered indispensable, especially in connection with electoral reform, and some Ministers share the impression that the Cabinet must resign.
(Received Hay 23, 11.50 p.m.}
Paris, May 23.
The condition of M. Monies is reassuring, but he is still unaware of the death of M. Berteaux.
