During this season nine courts have been available, all in grass, which have been much appreciated by members as they have had ample play. The threes new courts were not quite all that might have been desired, as we were rather unfortunate in getting very wet weather just as they were being completed at the end of last season, but your ground superintendent, is certain they will be quite satisfactory next season. During the season the following tournaments were concluded-. Ladies' championship, won by Miss N. Crowther; men's championship, won by Mr. Keith Dutliie; ladies' handicap singles, won by Miss J. Marriner; men's handicap singles, won by Mr. Keith Duthie; ladies' handicap doubles, won by Misses A. Maeklow and A. Barstow; men's handicap doubles, won by Messrs. 8. A. and J». A. Longuot; combined handicap doubles, won by Miss D. Denniston and O. O. Perry. Although our club won every match in the socond-grado tournament, wo were defeated by Devonport by one point, owing to the mode of scoring.
