Tangier, April 27. 1 At the instance of the French Government, owing to the critical situaf tion at Fez, Major Bremond without awaiting for the convoy from Alcazar > has retreated Fez-ward with his - Moorish troops, pushing through the 3 Uledjumma country. J Major Bremond reports that the ■ native troops under his command 3 have fought with much discipline and 1 decision, but the tribesmen from the Sherarda district are bolder, and animated with an anti-foreign sentiment, having avowed their intention of massacring all falling into ; their hands. Qeneral Monier three weeks hence will have 23,000 troops at Casablanca.
