Business was very quiet on '■' tho Stock Exchange yesterday. In investment stocks New Zealand Insurances changed hands at 86s 6d, more being on offer at 87s, with buyers at 85s. Union Steams were done at 40s, and Auckland Tramways (ord.) at 25a 6d. In mining lines Waihis were offered at 63s 6d, there being buyers at 63s 3d, but no - sales resulted. Waihi Grand Junctions realised 27e, and later sellers quoted 27s 3d, with buyers at 26s 9d. Talismans (old) sold at 50s, more being wanted at that price, sellers asking 50s 3d.
