THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES.

[bt telegraph.— press association.] Wellington, Tuesday. Or the 12 candidates who presented themselves for examination for cadetships at the - Australian Military College the following seven have been successful: —W. I. K. Jennings (Canterbury), R. Miles (Canterbury), V. G. Jervis (Otago), C. Carrington (Canterbury), W. N. M. Weir (Wellington), D. R. Carpenter (Auckland), and E. Olliver (Canterbury). These have still to pass their final medical examination, and to be approved by the general officer commanding the New Zealand Defence Forces. The remaining five who presented themselves did not attain the necessary, qualifying standard.
