A SEASONABLE HINT.

To prevent catching colds, do not fear them. The person who is always frightened that she is going to catch cold is i*e one who is the most likely to do so. Do not take any drastic measures against catching cold when the weather is cold, but when it is mild accustom yourself to every means of hardening yourself. For example, never sleep with the windows of your bedroom closed l ; never sit in a room with the windows shut, even if there is a fire in it; take outdoor exercise as much as possible ; wear strong boots so as to keep the feet dry, and a short skirt when vpalking. Do not court cold-catching by going near persons with colds.
