[BT TELEGBAPH.-r-OWN . COEBESPONDENT. ] 1 Hamilton, Thursday. A; settler named Thomas Roth well, of Te Kowhai, had a narrow escape from a very serious accident. yesterday. He was at work with a disc harrow on his farm when the three young horses attached to the harrow became restive, owing to the rough nature of the ground, and threw Mr. Rothwell forward in front of the discs, which passed over his left arm. He received a severe wound on the lower portion of the., arm. The injured man stitched and dressed the wound himself, no medical aid being at hand.
