MANGAPAI SHOW.
: A RECORD GATHERING. £BT i TELEGRAPH.—OWS CORRESPONDENT.] Wbcancake?:, Thursday. The 16th annual show of the Mangap'ai Riding Farmers' Aaiociation, was held .at Mangapai to-day in glorious weather. The entries and attendance constituted a record. Cattle were * especially well ' represented in the Shorthorn classes, but there were also good exhibits of Jerseys and Holsteins In the opinion of the judge (Mr. Arobury), the fat cow would have "taken first prize in any show in any country." Sheep were fairly well represented in numbers and quality, especially in the fat sheep classes.: Romneys were good, but Leicesters and Downs were not up to the usual standard. .
