Heavy showers fell just, before the racing started, and continued during the early part of the afternoon, with the result that the track was in a verybad state. The attendance was small. The totalisator investments were £3818 10s, as against £5636 10s last, year. Fourteen Itookmakers were licensed at >.'2O each.
