Public Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Avondale Road Board, to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 15th day ot February, 1911. at 7.30 p.m., at the Board's office, Blake-street, the following resolution, passed at a Special Meeting of the said Board, field on the 11th day of January, 1911, will bo submitted for confirmation: — In pursuance and exercise of tho powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1903," and " The Road Board's Act, 1908," the Avondale Road Board hereby resolves as follows: — "That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £15,500, authorised to bo raised, by the "Avondale Road Board, under the abovementioned Acts, for the grading, wide/ling. and metalling of the following roads in the Avondale Road District, viz., Great North Road, Rose bank Road, Mapukau Road, New Windsor Road, Blake-street, East-street, and Brownstreet, the said Avondale Road Board hereby makes and levies, a special rate of 7-Btbs of a penny in the £ upon the ratable, value of all ratable property of the Avondale Road District, comprising the whole of the said district, and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of Buch loan, and be payable half-yearly, on the Ist day of March and the Ist day of October, in. each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a a period of 36 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
