Wetxin'GTON, Sunday. At Wellington negotiations for a new carpenters' award were continued on Saturday, before Mr. P. Hally, Conciliation Commissioner. A settlement was- reached on matters affecting suburban and country work, piecework, overtime, and under-rate workmen. The question of preferonco, apprentices, hours of work, and wages have yet to be considered.
