TAKAPUNA LAND SALE.
THE BAY VIEW ESTATE.
The Bay View Estate, subdivided into 44 allotments, and situated at the corner of tho 2d section of the Taltapuna tram service, was offered for sale by auction on Saturday by Mr, Louis Lewis, on behalf of Messrs. Paul Hansen and Co., agents for tho owners. The attendance was good, and out of some 40 lots offered 28 found buyers at satisfactory prices. Tho following is a list of the allotments disposed of: —
Lot 1, £2 12s 6d per foot: lot 2, £3 2* 6d; lot 3, £2 17s 6d; lot. 4, £2 10s; lot 5, £3 ss; lot 7, £2 2s 6d; lot 8, £2 2s 6d; lot 9, £2; lot 10, £2; lot 22, £1 12s 6d;. lot 14, £2; lot 23, £2; lot 15, £1 17s 6d; lot 24, £2 ss; lot 18, £1 15s; • lot 25, £2 7s 6d; lot 26, £2 6s; lot 28, £2 ss; lot 27, £2 ss; lot 29, £2 ss; lot 31, £2 ss; lot 32, £2 ss; lot 33, £2 ss; lot 36,. £2 2s 6d: lot 34. £2 ss; lot 37,' £2 2s 6d; lot 35, £2 ss; lot 38, £2. The purchase money of these 28 allotments amounts to a total of about £3800. Out of the remaining 16 lots as many as seven were placed under offer after the sale.
