London, January 20. ■ In connection with the compositors' action against ■ the Scottish Typographical Association, the Court of Sessions in Edinburgh has decided that the Osborne judgment,' which prohibits registered trades unions from using their funds for political purposes, does not apply to an unregistered trade union. The Court held that the plaintiff society was entitled to an injunction without making a declaration that the defendant society's rule was ultra vires and illegal.
