The suaremarkofc showed a decided firming tendency on Saturday. In mining lines Waihis, which closed with a sale at £4 16s 6d the previous day, were exchanged at from £4 17s 6d to £4 18s 9d to £4- 18s, and more were demanded at £4 18s, but further sellers required £4 18s 6d. Waihi Grand Junctions sold at the slightly advanced figure of 31s 3d, and the market, closed with buyers at 30s 9d, sellers at 31s 3d. Waihi Extendeds realised 2s 6d.
