THE CRIPPEN CASE.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright.
(Received January 8, 5.5 p.m.)
London, January 7. The Times requests publication of the fact that there is absolutely no truth in the report published in November in certain Australian newspapers that the Times had published any confession by Crippen, or statement ,by Le Neve.
The alleged confession by Crippen was published in an evening paper, " The Evening Times." published in London, which doubtless led to confusion with "The Times."
