WOMAM FOUND DEAD.
v A SORDID CASE. --„y ' - - • 'A woman named May Gilchrist died at her home in- White-street, ■ off Upper X Queen-street, on Saturday morning, in sordid and miserable circumstances. A ; neighbour called at the house at 11 o'clock, and was .-told by a 1 child that its mother wag ■ inside, ill. . . The neighbour went, in to investigate, and fount" : the woman lying : dead on the floor, with a pool of blood - about her head. The police were informed, and the Coroner ordered a post-mortem - ■ examination to be held. The. indications are that death was due to hemorrhage of the lungs. The deceased was 30 or 35 years of age. - An inquest will bo held to-day.
