RESTRICTING THE EXPORT.

Calcutta, January 1. The Indian Government will rigorously adhere to the agreement for the annual reduction of opium exports to China by 5100 chests.

The Government is issuing special certificates on all opium leaving under declaration for China, namely 36,600 chests during the year.
