London; January 1. In response to the Anti-Slavery and Aborigines' Protection Society's appeal, the Rev. J. Harris and his wife, who were in the Congo from 1898 to 1905,' will start in March for a 12 months' tour of the conventional basin of the Congo River, with a view to reporting on the progress of the reforms for the amelioration of the natives' lot.
