YANKEE BLUEJACKETS.
I. LIVELY TIME AT CHERBOURG. BAYONETS AND REVOLVERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— Paris, November 20. , Two hundred riotous American bluejackets fought their way into the ° Cafe de Paris at Cherbourg at midnight and insisted on being served with drinks. a A French patrol ordered their de- . parture, but the bluejackets retorted ' by disarming the commanding officer. e The patrol cleared the cafe with 6 fixed bayonets. The bluejackets smashed the windows, and revolvers '" were fired. e An American sailor was stabbed '" to death in a quarrel with a French- ¥ man at Cherbourg, the body being " thrown into the dock. x The bluejackets were angered because many had been robbed.
