CONDUCT OF A CLUB.
REGISTRATION CANCELLED.
[BT TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.} Cheistchurch, Sunday. It is understood that consequent on the result of the recent inquiry into the conduct and management of the Sydenham Working Men's Club, and after due consideration by Ministers of the statements made on behalf of the club in rebuttal of the findings of the Commissioner, Cabinet has been unable to see its way to reverse the decision it previously arrived at to cancel the club's charter. The club has received information to that effect, and also that the cancellation of charter will take place as from December 17 next.
