FIRE AT NAPIER.
FRUITERER'S SHOP DAMAGED. [BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Naples, Saturday. Fire gutted the back portion of Southgate's fruiterer's shop in Hastings-street, doing considerable damage. The building is owned by Ringland Bros., and is insured for £250 with the South British. The stock is insured for £260 in the Commercial Union and £100 in the Norwich Union, and Southgate's personal effects for £50 in the Norwich Union.
