BREWERY PROFITS.
STATE TAKES LION'S SHARE.

London, November 10. At a meeting of the shareholders in Noake's Brewery, the chairman stated that of £54,785, the company's earnings for the year, the State takes £31,759. In 1897 State payments totalled 34 per cent.; to-day they total 57 per cent.
