MOUNT EDEN LAND SALE.

THE VICTORIA ESTATE.

Thkre was a record attendance on Victoria Estate, on Saturday afternoon, when Messrs. Smith and Halcomb offered for sale by public auction, 54 of 132 sections in this estate. The bidding was brisk throughout, and 35 sections were sold, being 65 per cent, of those offered. The total amount of the sale was over £4000. The remaining 78 sections, including all those fronting Dominion Road, will be offered on the ground on Wednesday next, at 2 o'clock.
