MOUNT EDEN LAND SALE.
THE VICTORIA ESTATE.
Thkre was a record attendance on Victoria Estate, on Saturday afternoon, when Messrs. Smith and Halcomb offered for sale by public auction, 54 of 132 sections in this estate. The bidding was brisk throughout, and 35 sections were sold, being 65 per cent, of those offered. The following are the. prices realised per loot, which are considered very satisfactory :— Lot 111 £2 7s 6d, lot 105 355, lot 100 £1 15s, lot 120 £2 14s 6d, lot 102 £1 17s 6d, lot. 101 ;0.l 12s 6d, lot 107 £1 10s, lot 122 £2 9s 6 *, lot 95 £1 10s, lot 88 £2 Is, lot 112 £2 os 6d, lot 118 £2 12s 6d, lot 121 £2 7s, lot 115 £2 6s, lot 115 £2 6s 6d, lot 114 £2 ss, lot 119 £2 6k. lot 132 £1 12s 6d, lot 117 £2 14s, lot 123 £2 Os 6s, lot 124 £2 6s, lot 130 £2 ss, lot 129 £2 6s, lot 92 £2 7s 6d, lot 52 £1 10s, lot 128 £2 6s 6d, lot 48, £2 17s 6d, lot 49 £2 2s 6d, lot 47 £2 14s 6d, lot 110 £2 ss, lot 90 £2 5s 6d,, lot 89 £2 2s, lot 127 £1 17s 6d, lot 99 £1 15s, lot 110 £2 ss. The total amount of the sale was over £4000. The remaining 78 sections, including all those fronting Dominion Road, will be offered on the ground on Wednesday next, at 2 o'clock.
