An improved tone prevailed on the Auckland Stock Exchange on Saturday. In mining lines Waihis showed a marked tendency towards recovery, selling at £6 10s and £6 lis, as compared with from £6 7s to £6 6s 6d to £6 Bs, the previous day. The closing quotations were buyers £6 10s, sellers £6 lis 6d.
