EFFECT OF NEW TAXES. By T:legriph.—Press Association.— London, September 30. Exports of Irish whisky from 1904 to 1908 averaged 8,000,000 gallons, valued at over £2,000,000. Owing to the Budget, exports in 1909 dropped to 6,156,523 gallons, valued at £1,667,000.
