Taihai-e, Monday. Ax attempted burglary was frustrated in the early hours of yesterday morning. The door leading to the billiard-room owned by Ellis Robinson was forced open, and also the door to his tobacconist shop. About 501bs of tobacco were rolled up ready for removal, but evidently the intruders were scared by the nightwakhman. and left without the booty.
