London, September 10 The Daily Chronicle's Milan correspondent reports that Rouvolino, who, with his wife and six children, were horribly murdered with an axe at Pellaro, Calabria, was implicated with other Italians in a big bank robbery at New York, and was arrested but was released in consideration of revealing the names of the ringleaders. As the outrage is believed to be the vengeance of the New York " Black Handers" the villagers, fearing vengeance on themselves, refused to assist the police, and carabineers were obliged to coerce undertakers to make coffins for the murdered family, and troops escorted the biers to the cemetery.
