RETURN OF £11,122.
TOTAL TO DATE, '£327,315.
During the four-weekly period ended the 14l:h insfc. the Waihi Grand Junction Gold Mining Company crushed and treated 6300 tons of ore for a return of bullion valued at £11,122. This, when compared with the return for the preceding four-weekly period, viz., £10,909 from 6300 tons, represents an increase of £213, and, as compared with that for the corresponding period of last year, when 4835 tons gave £7601, it shows an advance of £3521. Though the increases represented should give satisfaction to shareholders, still further cause for gratification should bo felt in the fact that the present is the third five-figure return reported in succession from the mine, and with the in J creased milling plant being installed and the important developments taking place in the low level still better results may be looked forward to. As showing the rapidity with which the mine is becoming one of the great bullion-producers of the Dominion, it may bo mentioned that the returns reported from it during the past half-year aggregate £66,853 10s, which, compared with the total for tho corresponding period of 1909, gives the big advance of £25,278 Is 4d. The total output from the mine during 1909 being £99,916 3s Bd, it will be seen that this year's yield should easily eclipse it.
