■It is understood that a syndicate is being formed with the object of constructing a new picture theatre in Wellington, close to Lambton Quay. An architect has been instructed to propane the necessary plans and specifications, and it 16 understood that the proposed building will not only be fire-proof but replete with modern conveniences. ■'
