FIRE IN WELLINGTON.
[by telegraph. —press ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. At three o'clock this morning a fire broke out in a cottage in Franklin Avenue. Before the flames were suppressed the cottage and two other houses were damaged, the occupants of one having to escape in their nightclothes. • The houses were owned by Dwan Bros., and insured in the South British for £900. - ■:''■''■■''■ . ; ;'■: ' 4 .
