FALL FROM A TRAIN.
' A MAIN ' TRUNK PASSENGER^ A max named Donald Mcßae, aged about • 40 years, was picked up on the Main. Trunk • railway line at five a.m. yesterday between K ; v - -Raurimu and Waimarind, having fallen off the Wellington to Auckland express during the previous night. / "' Guard Augar stated, after the arrival of 1 ? }he express at Auckland yesterday morning, »hat he ■ was informed by a passenger at ' 10.52 p.m. on Tuesday that Mcßae had ■''./ Seen missing from th© train for about 20 < ninutes. The guard had last seen the missing passenger at 10.20 p.m. . The train ,•-••' was pulled up, but no trace of the missing ■ *' * man could be found. Inspector Cullen, of Auckland, was ad;!J:«; vised by telegraph yesterday that Mcßae had only sustained a few bruises and a cut on the head, the telegram also stating . that he was being attended to at Raurimu. \ x _ -
