.CONTROL OF SUPPLY. [by TELEGRArn.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Gisiiorne, Sunday. A MEETING of the committee appointed by the Farmers' Union to consider the question of the storage of frozen meat adopted thefollowing resolution: —" The committee would recommend (a) that the freezing companies should be induced to increase their storage capacity, so that some of the meat in the flush of the seasort from December to April could be held over more conveniently for gradual shipments during the slack period of the year; (b) that as the freezing companies are prepared to hold sheep conditionally after April, farmers individually who have fat stock e : ther in the works at present or to go into the works this season, should make the necessary arrangements with the freezing companies to hold either the whole or a portion of their stock for shipment later.'
