The competition for the Onohunga Bowling Club's champion pairs lias now reached the final stage, J. Neill (sub.) and E. Clark (skip) and J. Haslett and G. J. Mackay (skip) being left in. For the handicap single* J. Haslett and T. R. George. meet, the winner to play off with whoever is left in after the winner of the G. .Tames-Aitkfln-head game plays off with E. Foot*. To-day the : inter-club match Auckland v. Onehunga is set down for decision. A very exciting final for the Stars was played on the Cambridge greens on Thursday (reports our correspondent) between teams skipped by W. F. Buckland and G. Robertson respectively. When the usual 21 heads wero completed the scores were 23 ill, so another head had to be played to decide 'were ■ the victors, and the lot fell upon, Buckland's team. ' The players wore: John Ferguson, C. Roberts, J. A. Hair, W. F. Buckland, (skip). 24, v. G. H. Palmer, C. Bertlesen, F. O'Toole, G. Robertson (skin), ,23.
