HAMILTON LADIES' CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Hamilton Ladies' Hockey Club the following otlicers were elected: —President, Mrs. Brewis (re-elected); vice-presi-dents, Miss Newell (re-elected) and Mrs. Herbert; committee, Misses Taylor, B. Hunter, G. Tompkins, ,E. Holden, M. Wilkinson; secretary, Miss E. Holden; captain, Miss B. Hunter; vice-cap- ■ tain, Miss G. Tompkins.
THE SEASON AT CAMBRIDGE. [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] -•■■" ■.' • Cambridge, Sunday. Hockey is going to boom in the Cambridge district this year, and the opening day, Wednesday next, will be a gala one, if the weather proves fine. No less . than eight teams have entered for-the tournament to be played on Victoria 1 ' Square on that day. The ladies are providing afternoon tea, and everything betokens success. This season there will be over 200 hockey players }n this district.
