RIOTS IN CHINA.
A CORNER IN RICE. FOREIGNERS IN DANGER. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— Pekin, April 15. Serioup rioting has occurred in Changsha, capital of the province of Hunan, owing to officials cornering the rice, crop of the province. The Wesleyan and two other missions were destroyed, while the British Consulate and Imperial Maritime Customs offices were abandoned, all the foreigners taking refuge aboard a merchant steamer. A British gunboat is proceeding to the scene. .
