A BARONET'S SUICIDE.

AN EX-NEW ZEALANDER. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. London, April 13. Sir Thomas S. Tancred, who was a sheep farmer in New Zealand in his youth, was found dying in Rotten Row to-day, and expired almost immediately afterwards. At the Coroner's inquest a verdict of suicide by taking prussic acid was returned by the Coroner. Sir Thomas Selby Tancred, the eighth baronet of the line, was 70 years of age, and was a mining and railway engineer. He was one of the contractors for the Forth bridge, and built the Delagoa Bay •railway in 1887. He leaves two sons and four daughters, his heir being Captain Thomas Tancred.
