THE WELLINGTON SLIP.
[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] • Wellington, Thursday. ,: The Wellington Patent Slip Company has decided to extend its work at Evans Bay, and to spend over £30,000 (chiefly in labour)' in connection with the scheme. The new buildings are expected to constitute the most up-to-date establishment of its kind in New . Zealand. It is more than probable that when the establishment is completed the Union Steam Ship "Company will concentrate all its repairing, overhauling, and refitting business at the Evans' Bay establishment.
