Rotorua, Tuesday, i The Magistrate's Court was occupied most of yesterday and to-day hearing cases arising out of breaches of the bakers' award, One employer was fined £2 and costs for failing to keep a time-book. Another was prosecuted for the same offence, for failing to pay overtime, and for dismissing a man on account of his connection with the union. On the first charge he was fined £1 and costs, and on the second £3 and costs. The third charge was dismissed. A foreman baker was charged with not claiming his overtime.
