A SEDDON MEMORIAL.
v , ROTORUA TOWN CLOCK. ! [BY . TELEGBATH.— COBBESRONDENT.] , _ Rotobua, ,Tuesday. I The much-talked-of Seddon memorial town clock'is now in a, fair way to materialise within the year. At a meeting of the committee to-day the tender of a Wellington firm to construct and erect a clock to strike the hours'on a 7cwt bell was accepted, and it was resolved to call for competitive design;: from architects for a wooden tower, 50ft high, on a concrete base, at a cost not exceeding £275. It is < suggested # that the tower : and clock be placed at the intersection of Hinemoa , and Fenton Streets, - between the Grand Hotel and the Bank of - New Zealand.
