Ottawa, February 22. A large public meeting at Toronto unanimously recommended Sir Wilfrid Laurier to add two or more Dreadnoughts to his naval proposals, and to build them first;

The Montreal Star denounces both Sir Wilfrid Laurier's and the Opposition's naval policies, and advocates Britain building Canada's ships, the . Dominion paying the cost and interest.
The ships should be recognised as Canadian, says the paper, and manned and officered by Canadians, Canada to have the power of giving two years' notice to recall any or all of the ships, and place them under the Canadian Naval Department. ' .' . , , ;
