A PAEROA GIFT ORGAN.

Paeroa, Wednesday. An organ recital was held in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church last night, to celebrate tho opening of the hew organ, which has been presented to the church -by a donor who desires that his name shall not bo made known. . The organ, is a very handsome instrument,'; containing in all 342 reeds, and was specially made for the church in Vermont, United States. A large number of selections were rendered last night by Mr. T. E. Midgley, of Auckland, amongst them being selections from Wagner, Handel, Rossini, and Beethoven. Vocal items were contributed by Miss G. Evans and Mr. Karl Atkinson, while an anthem and a hymn were sung' by tho choir. There was'a I very large attendance, the church being "••owded.
